A Winter Full of Sketching: Part VIII

     I'm trying to take this in bite-sized pieces.  One page at a time.  You'll notice that my sketchbook is actually a spiral-bound notebook.  For the kind of work I do, the spiral-bound notebook is all the sketchbook I need.  For other artists, they need something with thicker/better paper and a hardcover. Whatever it takes to make the kind of artwork you want to make is the appropriate kind of sketchbook.  They are repositories of ideas and inspiration(s) and increasingly become an excellent resource to tap into.  However, the old adage totally applies: "You get out of it what you put into it".
